• Osteopathic Family Medicine Residency Benefits and Salary

    Our osteopathic family medicine residency program boasts a competitive salary and excellent benefits. Family medicine residents are given time to participate in educational conferences in addition to vacation days. They also receive an educational allowance based on their program year.

    Total salary and benefits for osteopathic family medicine residents

    • PGY1 - $46,000 plus $1500 first year signing bonus
    • PGY2 - $47,500
    • PGY3 - $49,000  

    Reasonable relocation costs up to $2000 (Receipts may be required.)

    Category I: General education expenditures

    • PGY1 - $225
    • PGY2 - $500
    • PGY3 - See required education expenditures

    Category II: Required education expenditures

    • PGY 1or 2 – Up to $775 for COMLEX 3 (one attempt)
    • PGY 2 or 3 – Up to $1600 for the family practice board review conference
    • PGY3* – Up to $4000 for AOBFP board exams and ACOFP or AOA conference. Upon fulfillment of required conferences and exams, any remaining balance may be used for education related expenses in accordance with our Education Policy.

    *Expenditure is for one conference only. Attendance at a conference prior to PGY 3 will be deducted from the PGY 3 allotment.

    • 20 days PTO (paid time off) to include vacation, holidays and CME
