Matthew Bledsoe, PharmD, Residency Program Director

Matthew Bledsoe is the pharmacy clinical coordinator at Bristol Regional Medical Center and director of the pharmacy residency program. He obtained his degree from the Appalachian College of Pharmacy in Oakwood, Va., and obtained his bachelor's degree from East Tennessee State University in Johnson City, Tenn. Bledsoe is a pharmacy preceptor at East Tennessee State University and the Appalachian College of Pharmacy. His clinical interests include medication safety, emergency medicine, pharmacy management and internal medicine.

Dwight Owens, PharmD

Dwight Owens is the director of pharmacy at Bristol Regional Medical Center. He attended King University in Bristol, Tenn. for his pre-pharmacy coursework and attended pharmacy school at Campbell University College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences in Buies Creek, NC. He also completed a residency at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem, NC.

Sam Messer, PharmD

Sam Messer is the assistant director of pharmacy at Bristol Regional Medical Center. Messer attended the University of Virginia at Wise in Wise, Va. for his undergraduate degree. He then attended Medical College of Virginia in Richmond, Va. for pharmacy school.
