Holston Valley Medical Center’s PGY1 pharmacy residency program is accredited by the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists and offers a wide range of learning experiences.

Residency program requirements

Eligibility

  • Pharmacy degree from ACPE-accredited College of Pharmacy
  • Tennessee pharmacist’s license

Application requirements

  • Interview with residency committee
  • Participation in the ASHP Resident Match program
  • Submit the following application materials through PhORCAS:
    • Curriculum vitae
    • Official pharmacy school transcript
    • Letter of intent
    • Three letters of reference (following ASHP template)
