Physicians at Bristol Regional Medical Center are helping heart surgery patients avoid complications and recover more quickly with off-pump bypass surgery and performing state-of-the-art procedures using robotics including the CyberKnife Stereotactic Radiosurgery System and the da Vinci Surgical System.
Board-certified cardiologists with the Wellmont CVA Heart Institute, the Tri-Cities region’s largest and most experienced group of heartcare experts, are providing exceptional heart care at Bristol Regional and Holston Valley Medical Center, which has been repeatedly recognized as one of the top heart hospitals in the nation based on quality. In 2011, the Wellmont CVA Heart Institute launched and is continuing to develop the Tri-Cities region’s only Level One Heart Attack Network.
And Wellmont’s osteopathic residency program – based in its Southwest Virginia facilities – and orthopedic residency program are helping train future generations of physician experts.
