In accordance with our policy and procedures, all news media professionals must

10/24/14 - Playing Legend of Zelda, Halo, Pokémon or even Chutes and Ladders offers is not only a lot of fun but provides local residents with an innovative way to make miracles happen for children.
Extra Life, a 24-hour video game marathon that benefits Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals, will be held Saturday, Oct. 25. Gamers of all types are welcome to sign up – whether they prefer personal computer, console, fantasy, live-action role play, cards or even board games.
10/23/14 - Local college students are transforming an all-night party into a lifesaving fundraiser for the region’s sickest children.
On Thursday, Oct. 23, East Tennessee State University students will hold their third Dance Marathon to benefit Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals. The event, held from 6 p.m.-midnight in the D.P. Culp Center ballroom, will feature live music, dancing, children’s games and free food for all registrants. It is open to the community in addition to students.

10/13/14 - Eric Deaton, a longtime health care executive who previously worked for Wellmont Health System, is rejoining the organization as executive vice president and chief operating officer, effective Nov. 10.

When a patient is considered a “news patient,” the patient’s
general condition (one-word description) may be made available to the media. Information
regarding the patient’s condition will only be released when the reporter
supplies the patient’s full name. Mass casualty cases may be an exception.
If the patient is a minor (younger than 18), no information will be released
without the consent of a parent or legal guardian.
