• Treatments for Peptic Ulcer Disease

    The treatment and management of peptic ulcers involves lifestyle changes, medications, alternative and complementary therapies, and surgery. The goals of treatment include:
    • Elimination of Helicobacter pylori infection if present
    • Treating excess bleeding
    • Promoting healing of the ulcer
