Spiritual Care and Patient Liaisons
When you or your family members need support, our patient liaisons and Pastoral Care staff are there for you.
Valuing all faiths and ethnicities, members of our Spiritual Care department assist patients and families—as well as hospital staff—in the spiritual realm of health and wellness. Chaplains are available to:
- Provide care and counsel for those coping with the spiritual dimension of emotions often experienced in a healthcare setting.
- Give spiritual and emotional support in times of crisis.
- Support individuals in the face of grief, death and bereavement.
Patient Liaisons
A patient liaison serves family members by answering questions, providing comfort, helping with discharge information, arranging transportation and identifying community resources. Patient liaisons are available at Holston Valley Medical Center, Lonesome Pine Hospital and Hawkins County Memorial Hospital.
