Wellmont Health System is a member of the Children’s Miracle Network, a national non-profit organization of nearly 200 leading children’s hospitals dedicated to saving and improving the lives of children. To date, more than 11,000 Tri-Cities individuals and businesses have donated in excess of $7 million to support local children’s health care through the Children’s Miracle Network. All money raised locally stays in the community to support Wellmont hospitals and the deserving community organizations that meet our children’s needs. Through these donations, our region enjoys expanded services such as:
- New equipment (including a dedicated children's ambulance)
- Capital expansion
- Extended patient services
- Research programs
- Health education initiatives
- Special patient clinics
- Special patient care needs
