Scott Fogle Promoted To Regional Director Of Operations In Bristol Division Of Wellmont Medical Associates

Scott Fogle, who has more than 19 years of healthcare experience, has been promoted to regional director of operations in the Bristol division of Wellmont Medical Associates.

Fogle will oversee day-to-day operations and support services of the medical practices of Wellmont Medical Associates in the Bristol and Abingdon areas.

“Scott has long been a high performer, and we look forward to his contributions to our organization in his new position,” said Kim Onesko, vice president and chief administrative officer of Wellmont Medical Associates. “The Bristol and Abingdon areas are important markets for our organization, and I am confident our momentum will continue with Scott ensuring we sustain our high-quality care to patients.”

Fogle previously worked five years at Bristol Regional Medical Center in physical therapy and occupational medicine before embarking on a 12-year stint at Holston Medical Group. During the latter part of his tenure there, he served as practice manager for these two programs.

He most recently served as practice manager for Wellmont Urgent Care and Wellmont Medical Associates Pulmonology & Sleep, both in Abingdon, and several Wellmont Medical Associates primary care practices in Abingdon and Kingsport. While he was in this position, the number of patients doubled in Abingdon.

Fogle said he appreciates the trust Onesko has placed in him.

Fogle holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in exercise science/exercise physiology from East Tennessee State University. His professional career also includes service as executive pastor of Christ Fellowship Church in Kingsport.
