Bristol Regional Outpatient Rehabilitation
Outpatient rehabilitation and therapy patients at Bristol Regional Medical Center enjoy the convenience of physical therapy, occupational therapy and speech therapy in a single location, minimizing the need for multiple appointments and unnecessary travel time.
Inside Bristol’s premier hospital, patients can receive a variety of rehabilitation and therapy services including neurologic rehabilitation for conditions including brain tumors, aneurysms, strokes, brain and spinal cord injuries, Parkinson’s disease, multiple sclerosis and other neurologic disorders. Specially trained therapists offer pediatric evaluations and therapies for regional children. And extensive hand therapy services are available from multiple certified hand therapists, often found only in much larger hospitals and medical facilities.
Outside the hospital setting, Bristol Regional’s outpatient rehabilitation facility located on State Street provides patients with convenient access to individual therapies.
Bristol Regional’s State Street facility is unique in the area, offering Bristol’s only pool dedicated to aquatic therapy and more than 10,000 square feet of space located adjacent to the YMCA Wellness Center – a facility that offers a jogging track and other opportunities for therapeutic exercises in a wellness center setting. This facility also offers therapy staff members with an impressive range of expertise and convenient hours every weekday from 8 a.m.-6 p.m. for outpatients.
