2/1/16 - To demonstrate solidarity with those whose lives have been affected by cancer, the Wellmont Cancer Institute will participate in the #WorldCancerDay #TalkingHands social media campaign on Thursday, Feb. 4.
12/23/15 - Patients at the J.D. and Lorraine Nicewonder Cancer Center experienced the spirit of giving from Sullins Academy third graders, who provided gifts such as notebooks, blankets, hats and scarves, as well as handmade cards and notes of encouragement.
5/28/15 - Strength and hope will permeate the region as cancer survivors gather to celebrate their success at an upcoming event. National Cancer Survivors Day will be held June 7, and the Wellmont Cancer Institute will hold local gatherings at three locations.
