Bristol Regional named among nation’s best for cardiac care, heart attack treatment
Bristol Regional Medical Center is upholding its legacy of exceptional patient care, by earning recognition among the nation’s best hospitals for
cardiac care and
heart attack treatment. CareChex®, a division of Comparion that evaluates hospitals on multiple components of quality, has named Bristol Regional in the top 10 percent of hospitals nationwide for medical excellence in cardiac care and heart attack treatment for 2015.
The hospital was also named in the top 10 percent in the state for medical excellence in major
orthopedic surgery, and No. 1 in the Tri-Cities for major
neuro-surgery. Bristol Regional’s accolades for patient safety also rank it in the top 10 percent nationally for overall medical care, coronary bypass surgery, gastrointestinal hemorrhage, heart attack treatment and orthopedic care, as well as No. 1 in the Tri-Cities for major neurosurgery,
pulmonary care and spinal surgery.
CareChex ratings are based on a comprehensive review of nearly all general, acute, nonfederal hospitals in the United States.
