6/24/16 - Two community education sessions on the Zika virus will be held June 29 by Wellmont and the Sullivan Co. Health Department at three locations: Bristol, Johnson City and Abingdon.
6/23/16 - A two-day Safe Sitter course at Bristol Regional Medical Center will teach safety and child care for babysitters ages 11-15. The course will be offered July 19-20.
6/17/16 - To help address concerns about the Zika virus as we enter mosquito season, Wellmont Health System and the Sullivan County health department will hold information sessions on June 29 at Bristol Regional Medical Center.
6/16/16 – A community yard sale will be held at the Southwest Virginia Cancer Center in Norton on Saturday, July 9, to support Wellmont Cancer Institute patients in need.
6/15/16 - Wellmont Foundation has been awarded a two-year, $463,855 Connecting Kids to Coverage grant to to enroll 2,070 children in Virginia Medicaid, TennCare or the federal Children’s Health Insurance Program and more than 200 adults in some form of insurance.
