Why choose Wellmont for your occupational health needs?

    Fortune 500 care model

Drawing on extensive occupational health experience in Fortune 500 businesses, we’ll provide your company with the same care model and the same high standards.

We’re confident you won’t find such a comprehensive approach or level of quality anywhere else in the region.

Compliance with OSHA, workers’ comp changes and more

It seems like health and safety regulations, including workers’ compensation rules, change all the time.

The good news is you don’t have to be an expert in these laws and regulations.

    Let us help your business.

We provide broad, in-depth oversight of federal and state regulations – including OSHA, TOSHA, VOSH and DOT.

We’ll explain what you need to know and do to ensure your employees stay safe and you stay compliant.

As the rules change, we can help you stay up to speed on those developments too, including how to navigate the new medical causation determination rules for workplace injuries (the “greater-than-50-percent rule”), which is especially impacting our Tennessee business partners.

    Extensive experience

Our entire occupational health services team – from doctors and nurses to care managers and technicians – is up-to-date on its certifications (including DOT).

With many combined years of experience in core occupational medicine services, our facilities are staffed to manage favorable outcomes of work-related injuries and have a track record of being efficient and effective.

The staff is under medical oversight of our director, Dr. Sanjeev Kakkar, who is residency trained and board certified through American Board of Preventive Medicine, in occupational medicine. He has an extensive public health corporate medicine work experience.
