Stroke symptoms may include:

  • Slurred speech or inappropriate words
  • Difficulty understanding others
  • Numbness, weakness or paralysis on one side of the body
  • Blurred or impaired vision
  • Facial droop
  • Dizziness
  • Loss of balance
  • Decreased consciousness
  • Severe headache
