Visiting Guidelines
Visitors can be good medicine. To help make your visit the best for you, the person you are visiting and other patients in the hospital, we have provided the following guidelines:
- Smoking is not allowed in patient rooms or anywhere in the hospital.
- Please dress appropriately and wear shirts and shoes.
- If you have a cold, sore throat or any contagious disease, delay your visit until you are better.
- Visits should be kept short to allow patients their rest.
- Please maintain a quiet environment and avoid unnecessary noise.
- You may be asked to leave the room during tests or treatments or when the doctor or nurse needs to see the patient.
- Any personal information about patient diagnosis and treatment must come from the physician, and this information is only available to members of the immediate family who have been designated to receive it.
Specific hospital hours are listed below. Guidelines and visiting hours can vary from floor to floor, so please check with a hospital representative to ensure compliance.
