Bristol Regional Medical Center is one of just a handful of hospitals in the nation to offer Accuray Incorporated's innovative CyberKnife Stereotactic Radiosurgery System. Located in the hospital’s J.D. and Lorraine Nicewonder Cancer Center, CyberKnife uses state-of-the-art robotic technology to treat life-threatening tumors that would otherwise be inoperable.
And Bristol Regional also features the da Vinci Si Surgical System, introduced in 2009 by Intuitive Surgical, Inc., as part of its array of cutting-edge robotic treatments and tools. This version of the da Vinci Surgical System provides enhanced, high-definition 3D imagery for superior clinical capability.
