  • Heather Boyer in the NICU

Two weeks before Heather Boyer was born, her mother was admitted to Holston Valley due to premature labor. There she waited, hoping for a safe delivery.

Though Heather's initial birth weight was healthy, complications required her to stay at the hospital for three months.

Nevertheless, Heather persevered and grew into an accomplished young woman. She now cares for patients as a pharmacist in the very hospital that saved her.
