  • Thomas and Tiffany Whitt

Thomas and Tiffany Whitt were born at 31 weeks gestation, weighing just over two pounds each. They stayed in the nicu for six weeks, receiving around-the-clock attention.

Now 22, both twins lead full, productive lives. Tiffany, Miss Gate City 2008, has her bachelor’s degree in early childhood education and plans to pursue a master’s degree in communication disorders and speech pathology.

Thomas, who the family fondly calls the “gentle giant,” is interested in history and big band music. He also works with his father’s landscaping company.
